Ram Nivas, 71, resident of Saras Kela village, ???hen I was 5-years- old, my father had tattooed Ram on my forehead four times. When I turned 30, I tattooed my entire face, arms and legs. I have 4 children and I had tattooed, Ram on them also 4 times when they were children but they did not want their entire body to be covered in tattoos as they work in other states of the country. These tattoos are an obvious sign that the person belongs to the community of untouchables and my children do not want this to happen.
