Hern獺n Cort矇s de Monroy y Pizarro Altamirano, Marquis of the Valley of Oaxaca (1485 ??1547) was a Spanish Conquistador who led an expedition that caused the fall of the Aztec Empire and brought large portions of what is now mainland Mexico under the rule of the King of Castile in the early 16th century. Cort矇s was part of the generation of Spanish colonizers who began the first phase of the Spanish colonization of the Americas.

The Plaza de Espa簽a is a plaza in the Parque de Mar穩a Luisa (Maria Luisa Park), in Seville, Spain, built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. It is a landmark example of the Regionalism Architecture, mixing elements of the Renaissance Revival and Moorish Revival (Neo-Mud矇jar) styles of Spanish architecture.
