The world's first transistorised telephone model from 1967. It only contained two transistors, but this was sufficient to improve the sound quality significantly. The introduction of transistor technology meant that the sound of the bell could be replaced by a whistling sound. This telephone was developed by the Swedish architectural firm of AOS.
