Dr Herbert John Walker , of Brighton , Sussex , medical referee at the Downs Crematorium , Brighton , is seen leaving the Eastbourne magistrate's court , where he gave evidence in the hearing of the murder charge against Dr John Bodkin Adams . Dr Adams , 57 , is accused of murdering a patient Mrs Edith Alice Morrell , 81 , by a massive dose of drugs in November 1950 , but the Crown also alleges that he caused the deaths of two other Eastbourne residents , Mr Alfred Hullett , 71 and his widow Mrs Gertrude Hullett , 50 , who died within four months of each other . Dr Walker gave evidence regarding the statutory forms which have to be completed before a deceased person can be cremated . 15th January 1957
