Navy Sails Inland For Recruiters - A sailor explains the working of a quick firing anti-aircraft gun to visitors at Ipswich. Using motor-terpedo-beats from H.M.S. Hornet, the Navy is sailing inland, making use of the inland waterways to recruit personnel from places which are rarely visited by His Majesty's ships. These pictures were taken when one the M.T.B.'s. sailed up the river Orwell to Ipswich on its recruiting tour of the East Coast. August 29, 1946. (Photo by Fox Photos).
