"Cutty Sark" Arrived In The Thames To Become Training Ship -- The "Cutty Sark" arrives off Greenhithe showing the "Worcester" on left. "Cutty Sark", the famous old China Tea Clipper, arrived in the Thames today after its voyage from Falmouth, Cornwall. The "Cutty Sark", whose owner, Captain W.H. Dowman, died two years ago, has been presented by his widow to the Thames Nautical Training College, the vessel will be anchored off Greenhithe, Kent, alongside H.M.S.
