Trstino is a small town close to Dubrovnik in southern Croatia, set in scenic location by the Adriatic Sea. It is most famous for its arboretum and garden, erected by the local noble family of Gozze in the late 15th century; they famously requested ship captains to bring back seeds and plants from their travels all over the world. The exact construction date for the arboretum is unknown, but it was already in existence by 1492, when a large aqueduct, still in use, was constructed to irrigate the arboretum. Trstino and its garden have featured prominently in Game of Thrones, as the Red Keep palace gardens in King's Landing.
