Cavtat is a small seaside town in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County of Croatia. It is on the Adriatic Sea coast 15 kilometres south of Dubrovnik. The original dwelling place was founded by the Greeks in the 6th century BC, under the name of Epidaurus. Now, like many towns on or around the Makarska Riviera, the pretty Cavtat is benefiting from a tourist boom. Maybe its lovely climate, crystalline waters, beaches and scenic location under the Biokovo mountains might have something to do with it? Not to mention its lovely sunsets?
