Reusable hypersonic sled sliding on a monorail propelled by rockets at Holloman High Speed Test Track, New Mexico, USA. Hypersonic sleds are used to test the flight performance of hypersonic weapons. During a test in March 2022, a hypersonic sled was the first to be successfully stopped on the tracks after travelling at the hypersonic speed of Mach 5.8.
