Black and red marble. Patinated bronze. On the case there is a broken column; beside it stands Mephisto wrapped in a cape. The black dial without numerals; with gilded snake hands. Pendulum movement with feather suspension and half-hour chime on a bell. Pair of bowls with snake handles on pedestals. Height of clock 65cm. Condition B. P/S. Enclosed: Wrought iron console with marble slab.Art trade; Van Ham.
