Walnut; iron; brass. Octagonal; after cut baluster; round barrel with smooth soul and inlaid brass grain.
Flintlock with signature on the lock plate 'Bongarde A Dvsseldorp'. Walnut stock slightly
carved and with brass furniture; pommel with mascaron finish. ramrod with brass double
octagonal barrel. Length 49cm.
Above the chamber; gold-filled marks Alonzo Martinez. Condition A/B.
The gunsmiths of the family Bongarde worked for the Palatinate Electors among others.Art trade; Van Ham.
