Major parts of the castle museum (four rooms) are dedicated to his life. As well; there are the King`s Room; built for the visit of Italian King Vittorio Emanuele II (Victor Emmanuel II); but never used; and the armory. Domicil of the noble Florentine family Ricasoli since 1141; Castello di Brolio (Brolio Castle) was rebuilt from 1835 onwards; by Baron Bettino Ricasoli (1809 - 1880) and architect Pietro Marchetti in Tudor style.
