Caddisfly eggs attached to a leaf of a hawthorn, or thorn apple, Crataegus sp. Caddisflies are relatives of butterflies and moths, but have aquatic larvae. The eggs are laid in a gelatinous mass on foliage above water, and the larvae fall into the water after hatching. Filmed in Denmark.
