An advertisement for VISTAVISION a high definition wide screen system where the film in the camera and in some premiere situations ran horizontally. This exposed a landscape shaped picure eight perforations long, similar in picture size to still camera film. The usual vertically travelling movie film had a smaller picture which needed to be enlarged more on the new 1950s wide screens resulting in quality loss. VISTAVISION was an answer to this
