Hailey-Hailey disease. Lesion under the breasts of a 61 year old female patient with Hailey-Hailey disease (chronic benign familial pemphigus). This genetic disorder affects the production of a skin protein, which causes blisters to form on the skin. Despite the name, it is not part of the group of pemphigus autoimmune diseases. Topical steroid creams are often used to help outbreaks of the disease, but there is no known cure.
