Comparative examples for the putti; which cavort on both vases in the soft; pastel cloud
formations; can be found in the French salon painting of the late 19th century. The
painting in the style of the Neorokoko paired with the classicistic form of the vase is
typical for products of late historicism. Products from the S鑦res manufactory served as a
model for this type. The luxury porcelain of the French state manufactory achieved world
fame through its perfect quality and was copied on many occasions.Art trade; Van Ham.
